SMAT - From Training and Consultancy to Expert Recruitment Services.
SMAT Recruit stems from the sister company SMAT Consultancy
Services which was incorporated in 2009. SMAT Consultancy was set up
as a business start-up one stop shop, where all the foundation to start
and run successful business is in provided. The founder is an MBA
graduate in entrepreneurship. Over the year SMAT Consultancy realised
that many business where suffering from lack of knowledge to lead their
organisation even though they had operative skills. We designed a
course called Mind The Gap which address the transition from having
being and employee to becoming an employer and leadership technics.
SMAT became an accredited training provider with various awarding
bodies such Cache/NCFE. Pro-training, TQUK, ATHE and ILM

Some history
From the inception SMAT was able to work and support various start-up
and conducted huge research on understanding the principles of robust
business strategies and networking with various sectors. We were able
to establish our specialism and taking the lead in supporting SMEs
ranging from health and social care, colleges, hotels, nurseries,
Haulage, charities, recruitment agencies, children’s home, foster care
agencies, etc.
2015-2016

2016-2017
This when the business took off and experienced rapid growth and expantion.
SMAT moved to its current location Crown house Business
Centre where its journey of recognition and expansion began.
We also incorporated SMAT Recruit as we were being asked by
our client to provide them with trained staff mainly in health care.
We were now offering mandatory courses and continuous
development as well as qualifications in Leadership, team
building, project management, inhouse training and qualifications
up to level 5.
SMAT was moving from strength to strength and had admirable portfolio
of business they had started from scratch and were now flourishing, who
nominated us for and Awrad and were awarded an Award for best
Trainers.
2018-2019
Previouse startup nominated Smat for numerous award.
2019-2020
Won awards for best consultants.
SMAT was again nominated and won an Cooperate Livewire
Innovations and Excellence Award best consultants which open
opportunities for us to advertise at four major UK airports and to
occupy the centre page of the British airways flight magazine.
With the fall of the pandemic which affected the airlines we were
not able to take on this opportunity.
Recovering from the lockdown we made a come back by offering virtual
training to assist organisations to regain normality and offering
competence tested training. SMAT Recruit was offered a new blood line
through change of our offering to other sectors such as Finance,
Construction, Project Management and Engineering to provide
permanent placements and to develop niche. Each Niche will be led by a
specialist in the area and will be able support both clients and candidate
to achieve a perfect match.
2022-2023
