Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be involved in the design, construction, and maintenance of various infrastructure projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects that enhance the built environment and improve the quality of life in communities.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with architects, urban planners, and other professionals to develop project plans and designs for infrastructure projects, including buildings, roads, bridges, dams, and water supply systems.

Perform feasibility studies and site investigations to assess project viability and determine the environmental, social, and economic impact of proposed projects.

Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools to create detailed engineering drawings, models, and specifications.

Conduct structural and geotechnical analyses to ensure the integrity and stability of structures and foundations.

Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and construction budgets.

Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations.

Conduct inspections and quality control checks to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.

Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure timely project delivery.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, progress updates, and change orders.

Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in construction technology, and relevant regulations and codes.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
Proven experience in civil engineering, including design, construction, and project management.
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction techniques, and building codes and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Knowledge of sustainability principles and green building practices is a plus.
Full driving license for site visits and project inspections.
