Job Description
We are currently seeking a Finance Analyst with a strong focus on credit risk and financial forecasting. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in forecasting, modeling, and credit risk analytics to support our clients and internal teams. You will work on a variety of analytical projects, presenting your analysis and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in credit decision modeling and strategy, as well as a solid background in risk analytics within the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a numerate discipline or a related field.
- Proven experience in forecasting, modeling, and credit risk analytics.
- Familiarity with credit decision modeling and strategy, preferably in the context of IFRS9.
- Prior experience in insurance, mortgage, or retail financial services is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SAS or SQL is essential; familiarity with R or Python is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, multitask, and prioritize assignments effectively.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and clients.
