Program Planner

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Program Planner to join our team. The Program Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive program plans, tracking progress, and ensuring the successful execution of programs. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain program plans, including defining program scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Create and manage detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) to outline program activities and dependencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather program requirements, align priorities, and identify potential risks or issues.
Identify and implement initiatives to deliver sustainable operational improvements.
Identify and manage program risks and issues, proactively implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Coordinate program meetings and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, ensuring alignment and progress updates.
Generate program status reports, presenting key findings, metrics, and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.
Conduct program evaluations to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive program management culture, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Business Administration, Project Management, or Engineering) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Program Planner or in a similar role, managing complex programs and projects.
  • Strong understanding of program management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proficiency in program planning software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple programs concurrently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Professional certifications in program management (e.g., MSP, PgMP) are a plus.
